I just wondered if anyone knows what the american media and also people are saying about all this.

By the end of last week, not a lot. Radio 4's PM programme stated that there was little coverage because the general population weren't interested. Haven't heard since then, maybe things will pick up now that some of us decadent old-world types have been complaining so vocally.

I don't know about the media, but I imagine that they aren't really going to report anything in a negative way or that would cause concern. They can't possibly write anything that would say anything bad about the US Army or that these tower-crashing-capitalist-bashing-towel-heads have civil rights.

Several US citizens I know are somewhat bemused by the attitude of the rest of the world.

"Well, you don't know how we feel, how it feels to be attacked! ... You'd feel the same way"

"Bollocks! It's been happening in the UK for 40+ years and most of it funded by US citizens."

I would like to actually see some of the US media reports so that I can understand how people can be so misguided as to think it's all normal, to think it's humane or that humanity doesn't matter.
