We've got enough spare food to feed them without bringing GM into their country. Which, indeed, is what we did with Zambia.

If you want to stop them starving again and again then you've got to encourage them to have effective sustainable food production of their own. Which means not fucking up the biodiversity that their farming relies on.

but in the short term kids are dying (not our kids) once you have a plan to stablise the african continent i would totally agree with you but till that far far off day lets not poison thier minds about something which may help.i say may cos we dont know for sure.
