And there was no opposition to triggering Article 50 in Parliament. This election is only about May increasing her majority to impose more hardline Tory policies. No matter how much people like Littlestone think it's about the EU, it isn't. A vote for the Tories is anything but a vote for "the people" or for "taking back control".
I think you are probably wasting your breath tsc, unless you've got a random Tibetan mantra to throw in just too make you appear superior to us lesser mortals. Here's Mark Steel making one of his (spot-on!) observations.

I think everyone is wasting their time June, not just tsc who has been to the well NINETEEN times now on this thread boring the pants of everybody who is not for turning - including myself. People don't change their political views overnight so brow-beating people into submission ain't gonna happen here.
Everyone is entitled to a view and it should be respected no matter what that view is. I don't play the head-tennis game - one post to air your views is quite enough IMO - not that what I say is going to stop those who love to hear themselves reconsider, in fact it will probably make them worse as they hate being talked down to and hearing the truth about themselves :-)

Good God, what a load of nasty bollocks, again. You're a bit like Henry V111s wives. Sacked, resigned, flounced, returned, disgraced, looked foolish.

Great link June, and great postings TSC.

And yet none of the self-proclaimed Conservative voters will say which Tory policies they find appealing, so I'll keep asking because I genuinely do not understand why anyone who is not wealthy or very right wing in their views would vote Conservative. It's others who mentioned Brexit in this thread, my contention is that this election is not about that, it's about May trying to strengthen her position. I also responded to LS because he asked me a direct question. It's okay to not read my replies though, I won't be offended.

Feel free to revert to insults though, it's easier than answering the question.

Well said Sanctuary. Sad though that there are still a few troublemakers, both here and on TMA, who can’t resist firing off personal insults (and jibes) at those they dislike or disagree with. They bring both forums into disrepute and are best ignored (but you’ve already arrived at that realization by saying, “...one post to air your views is quite enough IMO...”).

Don’t let them stop you from saying what you think though and then leaving it at that.
