IS do not want anything. It is simple. They are mercenaries. They want paid. They were paid for Libya and Iraq. They were the Dogs of War paid for by the usual suspects, trained by The Company and the only resistance to their activities comes from Assad and Russia. Turkey decided it didn't like being used as a supply base back in July and look what nearly happened (courtesy of The Company).

The ISIS beheadings = Pure Theatre. Designed to shock the West, justify a proxy war, vent righteous outrage among Liberals, terrify the local populace, inhibit the local opposition etc.
