Well, this is why, ironically, bringing such idiots onto QT and other shows has the effect of showcasing their hypocrisy and stupidity.
He demonstrates the same tactics as the American right... when they're on top, they play the bully, when they're not, they play the victim. To the denser rank & file of their ilk, there's no irony in this whatsoever because they feel justified in whatever they do or say, even if it contradicts their accusations aimed at their political foes.
I find it interesting that, in terms of percentage of the population, the BNP is about the same as the far right in the USA, about one in five. This bunch alternates between claiming minority victim status and asserting that their views are those of the majority.
The 'Lynch Mob' statement reminds me of our own Justice Clarence Thomas's complaint of being the victim of a "'Hi-Tech' lynch mob" when he faced Senate confirmation... an insult to every other black man who actually WAS strung up by white mobs during the gruesome days of racial violence in the USA.
