Agreed.All I'm saying is - the fact that that particular chancellor was elected, the fact that she was elected, and I'll add the fact that Blair was elected, means that they all share two things in common
1 - The obvious - they had the most votes - thereby the most "popular"
2 - Much of the electorate were undeniably conned
But do many people look back with the same affection to these two as they do Thatch. Despite my opinion of her,and yours it is undeniable that she was a popular (sadly) and successful politician.
