The use of the charge of antisemitism whenever confronted with criticism of Israel's policies and actions irks me to no end. It's similar to the idea that if you criticize a particular person for being a neglectful crack addict parent (who happens to be of color) you're being 'racist'.

Definitely, DEFINITELY this tactic is designed to silence legitimate criticism and it's wrong.
