This rumour was started, attempted anyroad, by the Goons on the somethingawful forum a couple of days before the republican convention. Then the republicans announced Bristols pregnancy. If they would have done that, come clean and announced it, before this rumour is debatable. A lot of the goons were bemoaning the fact that Democrats have tended to take a similar, decent and equitable approach to campaigning much like Handofdave is espousing (which is the right way to do things tbh, although it probably wont work), focussing on the real concerns, while the Republicans lie and smear like bastards (and win). So this rumour started in the 'Lets smear Palin so Obama doesnt have to' thread in the Laissez's Faire sub forum.

At the moment the last interesting news is Sarah Palin uses a Yahoo Email account for everything instead of her Govt email. This is true so it seems, so anyway last I checked (not her email, I'm not a complete moron, the goon threads) her email had been suspended due to account hijacking attempts. She apparently has her 'security question' set up to be her zip code. Which being an Alaskan, with only two possible addresses is frighteningly dumb, particularly when her actually email address seems to be Gov.palin@yahoo etc.

Anyway, yep, quite a large percentage of Americans still actually believe that smear email that Obama is a muslim. Know your goons,

The humour can, usually is, very un-PC. Also dont make the mistake a recent Daily Telegraph writer made 'Gently caress' is not an internet slang term for 'fuck' it is actually a word filter that kicks in if you read the forums unregistered.
