Boris has won

close

Bah! F***ing racist, homophopbic, stag-hunting picaninny!

I hope any anti-Tories in London who didn't bother to vote, or voted LeftList or LibDem because they thought the results would be a foregone conclusion are feeling very proud of themeselves.

So this is how the country's going, eh?

This is about more than London, it's reflecting a general mood, and I bloody despair.

No vote for the tories can even be a protest against 'Iraq', as some suggest, because many of the fuckwits who are voting for them wouldn't give a toss about the place anyway (what's 'Boris speak' for those from that region?), and will give it the old 'we have to support the troops' bit.

Or is it coz he was such a hit on 'Have I got News For You'?

Heard somwhere he was 'popular amongst the young'.
WTF?

The country may be digging a grave here, complacency kills:-(

In a way I am glad that he has won.

Mainly because I want so desperately to see him CRASH AND BURN IN A HIDEOUS BALL OF OBSCENE FIRE!

If anyone is wondering what Boris really thinks, as opposed to what he's wanted people to think he believes during this campaign, take a look at this...

Not so cuddly, daft and harmless as dumb-ass voters have been taking him for, is he?

It must be a problem with democracy. How does a relatively well educated, free thinking electorate vote in a complete charlatan every so many years. We had Bush over here, now its your turn.

Can't hack his booze neither...

I imagine Private Eye are quietly pleased with the result though; Boris Johnson's almost preternatural propensity for gaffes is gonna keep the cover writers spoiled for choice in the months to come.

He is a tool though. He seems to occasionally enjoy a kind of tacit sympathy from the papers and the public by virtue of his 'amiable buffoon' status. But this is no reason to be elected to public office. In fact, it makes things worse because..

A) It's often posited that his buffoonish demeanour belies his sharp and incisive mind which indicates that he willingly presents an entirely bogus persona in order to appeal and succeed. In short, he's a liar. Or...

B) He IS a buffoon which renders him unacceptable for such a position.

either way he's a fuckwit.
