A second British general has now come out saying the same thing. Looks to me like they've been put up to it on the quiet.

On balance, any breaking up of the solidarity, however its done, has to be a good thing doesn't it?

Yeah, but I think this git's been pensioned off now, so he's doing that shouting from the Ivory Tower thing. As Rhi said, his comments do uncannily coincide with his book.
I find it insulting, and we see it all the fecking time.

As Dave Said, he's had five years to fess up. Iraq's been in this mess for a good three years (i.e since they toppled Saddam), and he feels compelled to say something now?
If they whole fecking Army went on strike over this - Generals and all - I'd see some real solidarity going on.

He doesn't have to impart his pearls of wisdom through selling a £16.99 book.
He's a liar and a hypocrite, can't help it!!
