Oh trust me by and large it still is! At least now they learn some astronomy though, which they like but it's all very advanced for GCSE level if you ask me; red shift, background radiation, the life cycle of stars - all stuff I didn't cover until I was at University and now Physics teachers are expected to get truculent youths with raging hormones to understand it! Still, better than moments, the most tedious aspect of Physics I can think of.
