yeah, I agree that the EM spectrum would most likely be the same anywhere, mind you I'm not sure how that works. I remember an interview with Frank Drake a few years back when he said that the signals that would most likely to be heard are radio signals. That's always been something that's always nagged at me, I mean, how would anyone know if another species is using radio waves?
