Charlemagne Palestine - Strumming Music
Faust and Tony Conrad - Outside The Dream Syndicate
Coil - Live One
The first Coil/Timemachines live performance of the 'second phase' during Copes Cornucopia festival. Don't think Chasms is available anywhere else, or developed further into another track.
Warrington Runcorn Newtown Development Plan - The Nations Most Central Location
Decent ghostbox / Craven Faults -esque electronic burblings. Not heard em' all, but on the stength of this one will deffo delve deeper. https://warrington-runcorn-cis.bandcamp.com/album/the-nations-most-central-location
Hawkwind - Space Ritual
Picked up the expanded edition of Joe Banks 'Sideways Through Time' (free postcard with the first 500 folks!). Enjoyed the Days of The Underground biog muchly, so this is anice addendum of the bits that got left out. SR is the perfect soundtrack to reading the interviews, wether or not those taking part can agree on the details of what went on and where. Was hoping fer a few more photos, but the pulpy paper probably wouldn't have shown them to their best anyhoo. Just noticed that there's a remastered plus remixed edition of Brainstorm just been issued by Cherry Red. £85 is a bit steep for me right now though. https://strangeattractor.co.uk/shoppe/sideways-through-time/
Some interesting looking titles on the Strange Attractor website, may have to nudge Santa, see if I've been good this year.
Broadcast - Spell Blanket/Distant Call
Niney and te Observers - Tubby's Want The Channel: Dubbing With The Observer 1976-1978
If you like your horror of the 'folk' variety, 10 short (15 mins each) of readings from the new book by Andrew Michael Hurley - Barrowbeck up on BBC iPlayer. Good Stuff for these dreary Winter evenings.
