Love at Liverpool is a bootleg I think better than the festival hall official release, the reason why i've cheated with the video is it probably the greatest music video ever recorded (i well up everytime i see it) from one of the archetypal rock 'n' rollers, i cannot take the whole album added to the number 1 spot due to the simon and garfunkle cover, hurt was i believe issued as a single so make it single version.

also nearly included in my list were

Johnny Cash - Murder
Miles Davis – Bitches Brew
Joy Division – Closer
Teardrop Explodes – Wilder
Beatles – Revolver/Rubber Soul
B52’s – Rock Lobster
Talking Heads – Psycho Killers
Harvey Andrews – Soldies
Crosby Stills Nash & Young – Déjà vu
Julian Cope – Skellington
Loundon Wainright III – The Acid Song
Christy Moore – Ordinary Man
Bernard Cribbins – Hole In The Ground
Syd Barrett - Barrett

The point of the exercise is to make a list of 500 ALBUMS, so singles and videos don't count. (I will take the Love bootleg as a valid entry though.)

When we get around to the 500 Greatest SONGS list, then you can vote for "Hurt." ;-)

Sorry to be such a stickler, but somebody gotta enforce the rules. What should I do with your #1 slot? I can't include it as is.

PS - "Rock Lobster" isn't an album either!
