A mate and I were reminiscing record labels of our youth and Small Wonder Records was one of them.

Their list of releases includes an EP by Frank Sumatra.

Great name!

The only Small Wonder records I bought were the debut 45s by The Cure and the Cockney Rejects. Both, in their own very different ways, fine records - and arguably the best 45s they ever made, certainly as far as the latter was concerned!

There's a good looking comp to be made of their roster. Maybe Cherry Red could get the rights. Bela Lugosi's Dead was on Small Wonder (Teeny 2). Prob my fav' post punk record.

Also remember FAST Product having a pretty good line up, ditto Red Rhino.

The fabulous Safety Pin Stuck in My Heart EP!

Fatal Microbes' 'Violence Grows' was the big favourite here. I even requested it on wonderful Radio One, on a weekend when Peely sat in to do Anne Nightingale's Sunday afternoon show!

Yes please to a Cherry Red box set.
