Julian Cope - Drunken Songs. Didn't like this at first but it's grown on me (except the track with accordion because I really don't like accordion). None of the tracks would make a double cd compilation of 21st century Cope for me but I like the tunes and it's great to have a lighthearted (Skellington?) Cope album. Road to Tralee is not unlike Armenian Genocide (if you replace Christians being marched to their death with two blokes getting pissed on a bus on their way to Tralee!). Most of the tunes have been in my head the last couple of days so can't be bad.
I like your take on this - I hadn't thought of it in a Skellington kind of way, but that makes complete sense.
