Steve Mason - Monkey's Mind in the Devil's Time. It all comes together on this album. A feat he has struggled to achieve post beta's while showing plenty of promise. This is from 2013.

Dead Sea Apes & Black Tempest - The sun behind the sun. Great to give this another listen. Highly recommended. The simplicity of the first track is very effective and soundtracks to me an imaginery film about struggling and achieving in a dystopia. I don't know why that would be but it does. If ever there was a case for even greater than the sum of its parts...

Lisa Knapp - Hunt the Hare - The Branch of May EP. Beautiful, light trad folk with Gerry Diver in accompaniement

Ooberman - The Magic Treehouse. Slightly on the saccharine side of indie pop, but more than enough going on to keep me entertained.

Mueller_Roedilius - Imagori. Very strong collection of songs in a slowed down jazz, ambient electronic way. They are still up to it.

Kernuyck - Mariana (single). Fun Black Sabbath type metal.

The Gun Club - Fires of Love.

Simple Minds in concert on the BBC red button

Lampchop on Lauren Lavern's show a few days back. Recommended

Simple Minds were superb but Steve Harley appeared to be on a different planet at the end.
