The two tracks I've enjoyed most this week are tracks that are on bonus discs of albums – D.I.V.’s Your Loft My Acid (Fearless' Trans House Mix) and the Duotonal mix of The Liars No Barrier Fun with Alan Vega’s voice filling in the gaps in a manner that only he can.

And a quick mention for Paul Buchanan on Later. On a programme that often features the wacky or the mundane, this was the Blue Nile man singing in that unmistakable voice backed only by a restrained Jools on piano. It really was rather lovely.
