Sounds like a normal night at 'The Klinker' :D. I miss those events, Anna & I are really proud that we got to play at three of them. Its a real shame that Hugh gave up on them. We recently met up with another ex Klinker performer and we'll be playing together at an all day thing with them here in cambridge in April.
Isn't The Klinker back back back? Someone mentioned it to me the other week as a possible SOLUS3 venue. Though we might be a bit too straight up for that scene.

Oh my, really ? Let us know what you know, particularly what venue he's using now (I guess it won't be The Sussex anymore). The last we know is that John Wall told us a couple of weeks ago that Hugh had given up on continuing it completely. As for being too straight up, I doubt that, there is no such thing when it comes to a Klinker night. They are the most varied nights I've ever seen, its kind of the point. I've seen straight ahead punk acts play alongside Bob Cobbing and Yumi-Hara Cawkwell there. If you do get the chance just do it, do it. You won't regret it.
