Ha! That reminds me of a friend who saw the Damned logo I did on my brother's leather jacket copied from 'The Black Album' and declared himself a fan of The Amne (he pronouced it Am-nee). He clearly thought the big flowery Ds either side were some sort of arty embellishment, I suppose.

I'm ashamed to say that, aged 15, I did, for a very fleeting moment, wonder who this group were who ripping the name T.Rex off by calling themselves R Tex when I first spotted this cover and my eyes went to the shield before the bloke on the dragon!!

When Mrs PBT first moved in, her boxes had all been written on before being taped-up so that some of the letters were obscured. Realisation dawned just a mere fraction of a second too late to prevent me asking "Who's Ron Maiden?".
