This has occurred to me too, only I thought it might be bipolar disorder.
Certainly seems to have some of the symptoms - incorrigible belief that he's always right and everyone else is wrong, blatantly self-aggrandising diosposition and aggressive behaviour when anyone confronts him alternated with a period when he disappeared off the forum for several months (due to a crash back into the depressive phase, perhaps?!).

I'm also sorry you missed me so much during my hiatus from the site.
But i had more serious concerns in my professional life to consider for the while.
You understand, Don't you?
Is there a sort of calculated amount of time that is considered appropriate for one to spend on this site?
I know that for some, it's a full time occupation.
