Hello, Hello everyone

If you have a band or a musical project, no matter how new or old, if you don't mind could you please add/post a link here.

This could then serve as an Index or one stop shop for all the great stuff everyone is doing.

Thank you

This is The Badgeman - we made some LP's in the early 90's, toured and shared labels with some nice/cool people. Julian Cope liked us a bit.

Most of my musical output predates the internet. In fact, it predates CDs!!
Having had a very long lay-off from playing in bands, I did get drawn into it again a few years back - and even built a website for HEADGEAR, our amateur/local band. However, I stormed out and deleted the website. Ha. That'll learn 'em! They were really just into recording and didn't much like the idea of leaving their nice warm rehearsal studio.

Very recently, and with the aid of my mate Capt. Chaos, I've assembled an odd troupe of musical cohorts and have even done a little local gig already. This lot are totally into doing it live - so much so that the idea of getting into a studio really doesn't appeal. http://www.myspace.com/jazzydubfunk

There's also a posthumous MySpace site for Capital Wow, a band I played in and managed many moons ago. http://www.myspace.com/themightycapitalwow
There's been talk earlier this week of a sort of reunion, to do a song for the end credits of an indie film.

Erm I have no fancy link. In fact I barely have a band but it's getting there. I play bass and my mate plays guitar. All we need is a drummer and an ounce of talent. Still we've learnt how to play Hong Kong Garden, Friggin In The Riggin, and Shitlist. Look em up and you'll see that really is no great feat.
Well watch this space for a MySpace page of our dreadful efforts anyway. ;-)

My "Wisconsin Krautrock" project -- 6 tracks from the CD, all available for download (if you want the missing track, send me a myspace message or email -- it's short, I can email it to you.)

"USA" is my favorite track, "Paecken und Loden" and "Nachrichten aus Fernsehen" are also cool.

Previous dabbles include Children Of A Lesser Groove, once in the early 90's we were Lincolnshire's biggest alternative rock band.... not saying much ;) and also the "Hexx the Ghears" album with Dan Donovan, for which more info and a dodgy photo of me in my other personality as HEXX can be found at: www.moosecall.co.uk

Doors tribute. Automatic Doors. (on ice)

woke up a week or so having had a vivid dream in which i was on stage singing the Aerosmith classic ( and it was you know) Sweet Emotion, so as soon as i've built this fucking extension at the back of my gaff i'll have a crack at doing some fucking cool seventies rock covers. nothing too taxing anymore then.

this is another Seattle-based impov group
(though I now live in Los Angeles -
we will be continuing to play and record when we can, however)
with at least a fixed personnel in this one!

We listened to a lot of CAN around the time we recorded these,
also millions of other things,
I guess I would call it instrumental space rock

Some tracks are from shows, some are from the basement,
some are from minidisc, others from multi-track

I did most of the recording, Zack did most of the editing
and he set the page up yesterday so it's
fresh to the universe

hope you dig it!

I don't know know if anyone has posted this yet, but there's a list of contributors to the Cope tribute project here:

A lot of those people are on H2H too.

I'll add a link to my stuff here then. You never know, I might extend my fan base to eight people......

Used to have a heavy psychedelic jam band called Zanzibar Cob [see http://www.interwebmegalink.net/articles/darknotes/1/32 but ignore the notes on what other bands we sounded like - I don't know what he was thinking to write that! Some influences, split between us, for sure, but we didn't sound like any of those groups]; before that was in Plastic Spacemen [yes, from that old Goodies advertisement], a kinda psych-pop group the less said about here the better. [I tried to give 'em a metal leaning but it didn't really work]
Have done a solo electroacoustic trip rock cd-r as Mantis Sage Projects [see same link, and again, ignore comparisons given there].
Currently playing with heavy psych-prog rock band Buttchunks. [Myspace page pending]

Big Block 454 got quite a good review (well, stunning actually, except for the Chas'n'Dave reference) on the Manchester Music website yesterday...
