Excellent, things are starting to open up properly, but even the Brits haven't really turned up yet!
Look out for loads of scruffy young types driving hire vans round the countryside full of camping equipment, that's what I used to do (and miss dearly). On that note, I would avoid Carnac-Plage on a Saturday as this is the traditional day off in those parts and the bars (well Le Baobab at least) will probably be full of said scruffy individuals getting very drunk!
Any other time Le Baobab is a reasonably priced meal option, for some top pizza in Carnac Plage head for Le Flamingo, where they do pizzas with the bases made from the same Ble Noir as the local savoury pancakes. On the subject of crepes and galettes, there's a crepery opposite the fron of the church in Carnac-Ville which is ace (do look up at the church to see St. Cornley and his cows amongst the stones).
Gavrinis will be open too if you have the time and it's well worth in in spite of the shepherding and photo-ban.
Outside of Carnac, the stuff in TME is great for a shorter trip, the choice is to drive a lot to impressive sites that take a while to get to, or to spend more time in Carnac driving less to see lots of very cool, off the beaten track, small sites.
What is very cool about Brittany is the roads seem to follow the ancient trackways, so nothing is ever much of a walk away, major bonus for the Lazy Antiquarian! The one walk I would recommend in the one from Erdeven, past the Giants, Mane Braz and Coet er Bei to end up in Crucuno, you do have to retrace your steps to get back however, unless you have a support driver.
Finally, non-megalithically, Auray is lovely but don't go out of your way, Vannes is very pretty (and the axes in the museum a site to behold, go in the afternoon to be on the safe side), Concarneau is worth a look and Quimper is very nice too. This is the best time of year to see Gaugin's old haunt Pont Aven also. Avoid Lorient like the plague, it was a Nazi submarine base which we flattened and then it was rebuilt by le Corbusier's idiot cousin.
Oh, and drink lots of cider,
