Was there on a whistle-stop trip last weekend, managed to grab a couple of dolmens and an iron age village, which I'll put up as soon as I can work out where they were....
Anyone else been? Two hours from Stansted to Santiago de Compostela on Ryan'flying advert'Air. I'm sure there's cheap places to stay there due to the pilgrims (we were on a freebe from work in the very fancy parador). And cheap food to.
I'll be going again one day....

I was there last September. Got a few dolmens, some rock art, a couple of iron age settlements and a bit of Romanesque.

I haven't got around to adding that trip to my Beyond These Shores section yet. Did you get to the settlement by the beach (a long walk behind a cafe)? Can't remember its name off the top of my head.

My ex's family were from out that way. Sadly, I wasn't into the stones way back when I visited the area.

I understand the place is literally littered with sites.
