yes I agree - and I'm sure lots of other people here feel the same (maybe less, maybe more). If there wasn't some extra excitement/buzz involved, who'd want to travel miles to see a few stones / bumps in a field? Some people might say it's about the thrill of the chase, some might say it's about thinking of people who've lived a long time ago, some might go for the 'atmosphere', and some might say it's 'spiritual' - but whatever, it's about something more than just what you see with your eyes. Don't squash the thing that makes you feel passionate about the stones..

Well put Rhiannon.

Goodness knows I've tried to work out why I am hooked on visiting old rocks. As all of us here probably have.

Don't feel that you've been daft LTL, the discussions here on tma forum can be quite sceptical abut all the new agey stuff, because in the past there have been folk who have appeared and talked endlessly about their own personal new-agey theories. But these folk were not really interested in the sites, just in how they could be used to back up their ideas about their own theories.

You seem to genuinely get the buzz from visiting the sites, and so far, I've not heard you go on and on about Lizards, Giant teeth, The Ark of the Covenant, Atlantis any of that stuff, so I really wouldn't worry about having put your foot in it. Enthusiasm for is a Good Thing in my book :)

It's spiritual for me.
