Northumbria seem to have their heads screwed on as regards their archaeological heritage unlike other park authorities who prefer to keep any new discoveries strictly under wraps.

There's a gadgie in Newcastle who's in charge of the Wall World Heritage thang, I forget his name but he may be worth hunting down. I'm sure they'll have surveys of the whole area tucked away in an archive up there somewhere.
