Sorry Kammer, didn’t see the program – but years ago I used to go out with a vicars daughter - the old Rev was into stone circles and ancient sites too. We even went on a trip to Arbor Low and Stanton Moor with his wife. It seems not all of the clergy want to Christianise or destroy the old pagan sites.
And he wasn’t even a ‘trendy’ vicar either -hehe!

This guy was way out there. He seemed a lot more enthusiastic about the Mother Goddess than God. He's even written a book (I think it was called something tacky like Honest to Goddess).

I know that a lot of Anglicans have reservations about some Christian doctrine (e.g. Virgin birth, divinity of Jesus) but most of them keep it relatively quiet. This guy is being really obvious about it, and getting away with it. Obviously this is a good thing, but it's kind of unusual.

Incidentally, I forgot to mention that the programme included scenes of the Rev visiting Eglwys Gwyddelod, which is a beautiful cairn circle near Happy Valley. The programme also included a shot of my friend Mary in the congregation of this guy's church, so I'll have to track her down and quiz her on him.
