Thank you Gladman for that info, i enjoyed reading that, but something is nagging me that we did have one actual King of Wales (the whole of) back in the early 11th C.
Could well be... Welsh history is one of the most complicated I've read due to the proliferation of kingdoms... all the 'ap so-and-so's'

Incidentally I'm caught firmly between the North/South camps.. my sister has two South Walian children and a Welsh fiance, I've several North Walian friends and love the whole landscape, but with a particular leaning to Mid Wales! So have to be a bit diplomatic... e.g. side with whoever's bigger.

:)
I have to say, due to my youngest son's ebay adventures, we entertained a certain North Walian gentleman from Rhyl, last night. Meet and greet went well, without incident or flying words. I even made him a cuppa tea to take home with him. There may be peace in the country soon.

Mind you... how he managed to fit a disected Yamaha Divi in a Corsa we'll never know.

Now then, about this Welsh King...i did find a link, and i'll post it as soon as i find it again.
