"My nationality on the passport is described as 'british citizen' ."

Well that's a larf innit! Where's the constitution? There isn't one! You have no rights, really. We come from a Kingdom, not a republic, so you can't be a *citizen* ... we are all *subjects* ... She could have your head chopped off tomorrow if she really wanted to :-)

And to be pedantic to the pedant I bet it says 'British Citizen" and not 'british citizen' :-)

Captain Sensible used to boast that he'd chopped the queens tits off and shoved them up his arse. Although I don't believe him I liked the sentiment.
Is a constitution the only means of citizenship?
Apart from the lizzie's land stuff, I think our free flowing democracy is less restricting than a constitution. I just wish more folk would actually engage in the democracy. A bill of rights may be nice although I suspect there will be so many loopholes incorporated that it would be rendered worthless.
You are only a subject if you allow yourself to become one.

It actually sez BRITISH CITIZEN.

Tickets to see Fitzcoraldo being beheaded - get 'em whilst they are hot...

How do you square the Human Rights Act 1998 with the statement that we have no rights in this country?
