Agree about Cothiemuir Wood, brilliant place and the others mentioned already. Could I add East Aquhorthies. It's a show site but what a site with Bennachie as its backdrop.

Yeah Cothiemuir is ace. I really like Whitehills and Corrstones, but we've had an expert guide with us at all of them. Both the latter could do with a bit of sympathetic restoration, but very nice atmospheres indeed.
