A few years back we got talking to the lovely elderly inhabitant of the house at Fang circle (http://www.themodernantiquarian.com/site/567/fang_circle.html) and iirc her husband was born in the first ruined croft past the modern box house and his grandmother was born in the ruined croft built on the circle...

Though reading the fang comments, maybe it was just one ruined croft and a sheep thingamy built about the circle. Its been a while...

We talked to that lady too, she was tremendous and told us quite a few stories of her life there. It was hard for us to contemplate someone so old living alone out there, although she had a generator she told us she only ran it in the dark evenings when she needed the lights.........
