I found a couple like that in Surrey when I lived in South London. If you are interested in visiting they normally have an open day once a year organised by the local heritage/archaeology society or museum. St George's hill being a good example with a public footpath along a rampart completely surrounded by private land so no access without permission... of hillforts ranking up there with the UK's best.... both totally private, hidden in trees and out of bounds to the general public.
