I got my copy yesterday and can say it was definitely worth the wait. It's a bloody masterpiece! So in depth and amazing colour maps, photos and diagrams on almost every page. I'd highly recommend it to anyone.

Off to buy it now!! This was supposed to be my Christmas/birthday present for the last 3 years but it looks like I will just have to buy it for myself!!!

Weirdly though, when I looked on Amazon about 2 weeks ago it was still saying "pre-order".

Oddly enough, a friend said to me some weeks back 'oh I saw a book the other day, 'crowns of stone' or something, looked like your sort of thing, don't know if it's an old title maybe you could still find a copy, and I was trying to get her to remember where she had seen it - in Inverness or somewhere. So it was on a shop shelf somewhere to buy... maybe a month back LOL. Oddness!
