Thanks SC. I think you're right. I've been looking at the map all day and it's to big an area to cover in a week. I think I like the look of Penwith and had had my eye on Watch Coft and Men-an-Tol already.

Use the search facility on these forums via the Head Heritage site. There have been so many recommendations for Cornwall trips in the past.

And yes, they're all correct - a week isn't long enough, even for a small area like West Penwith!! There is a *lot* to see...

On Dartmoor, Merrivale and Grimspound are sites I'm always blown away by, and both are relatively close to roads with parking space.
