Canon Atkinson initially mentioned 'sundry gaps' where stones stood and later mentioned standing stones 'stood, one in each cardininal point', these stones were not present when Atkinson visited and he didn't excavate where the stones were supposed to have stood.
A. Hardings excavations of the cairn (Ring-cairn 235) published in 1994, found that there was no evidence that there ever were any other upright stones on the site of the ring-cairn.

Ramsdale ss's in north yorkshire 921038, is believed by burl and myself [+ others] to be one, N yorks + Northumberland are the main places in england , at normal sc's the land seem's to spiral in, at 4 posters the hill's seem flat .like you're in a square, and sometimes[ like 4 stones near new radnor] you can even see this on a map.
