The vandalism at 12 Apostles is a constant. Seems there's little anyone can do about it. Even one of the rangers up there doesn't give a shit about the place! 50% of the time I've been here (that's hundreds of visits), summat's been damaged. & the culprits are from a cross-section of folk, from wiccans & other pagans (honest!), to New-Agers, Born-Again xtians, tourists & fuckwits of all genetic modifications...
Best thing for the place is for a coupla megalithic rangers to wander the moor, watching out for sad-folk. KOzmik-Ken & I have always said we'd do it - but it's only Ilkla Moor, not somewhere important like Rollright or Stonehenge...! Bratf'd Council aint exactly the most caring of authorities wennit comes to our old past...
