The problem is that I keep getting a big red error message saying that only J- pegs can be uploaded. As my images are all J-PEGS i don't understand the problem. Any Ideas?

Check the size of the images you're uploading.

The Submission Guidelines in the Help pages suggest that anything over 720 pixels on the longest size will be resized, but in my experience, anything over this size just gets rejected and won't upload.

ok, thanks I shall give that a try. I've used photo bucket before, but it's been a while and my head really is turning into a sieve, so I'll try my best.
