Hi,

I didnt have my gps but wandered about the hill. From the road you see 2 hillocks and a mound in the middle, thats where I was originally told to go but couldnt find them. They are, coming from the road, below the furtherest hillock to the right, half way between the farmers green fields and the top of the hill. Its fenced off. My pictures don't give it justice, its a truely amazing site when you start rumaging arounf the heather. Looking about on the net theres some talk about what to do about the weathering of the stones, which I assume is whats stopping them reveal the rest of the 3rd circle and the other 6 or so. I'd love to see what the whole site would have looked like back in the day. If you've got any scoop or any info on the site I'd love to hear it.

I know very little about it, I'm afraid. I've been after the excavation reports for some time.

I think it's just the fact that everyone's been to Beaghmore and no one's really been to this place that appeals to me. I'll have to get my arse in gear now.

When you say 'from the road', do you mean the track up the hill from the farm at H 598 764, directly south of the circles? That's where I went from and the farmer gave me loose directions, but obviously not good enough!
