If it was a manmade monument there'd be loads of volunteers keen to fix it. Not sure if the same would apply with geology. Maybe there's a gap there.

That aside, words fail me. Utterly, utterly mindless. Still - at least they left their names. Which is stupid, as far as they're concerned, but by far and away the least stupid thing they've done.
