I'm amazed they've put lambing ewes in the field. The worn bits around the entrances etc do get muddy when it rains - I'd forgotten about that and was (wromgly) thinking about walking across the field from the road.

If I were you I'd try to go for as long as possible before actually having a very close encounter with a ram! They can be evil buggers.
