Is there a large stone lying recumbent, in the wall, at the centre of this picture?

It doesns't look like it's part of the wall and may a trough ?

That's new wall - incidentally - it looks like a big stone has been incorporated into it. This fashion was native to SW Scotland - usually in Britain the stones were broken up on the basis that they settle easier with time.
