Yeah the Dorset one is a special book now out of print put out by "The Dorset Natural History & Archaeological Society". The Somerset one is in two parts in "The proceedings of the Somersetshire Archaeological and Natural History Society".

I wonder if the Herefordshire list online is complete or if its just the ones which are on the SMR? I know the Somerset one lists several long barrows which were destroyed before Grinsell.

That's a good point and probably the case. I imagine he will have recorded all the barrows he could find (although in truth Herefordshire is largely lacking in barrows, except to the SW where chambered tombs are more common).
