It's all conjecture, but I'd be surprised if that stone at White Moor Down is associated with the circle in that sense. The two seemed unrelated to me. Not that I had reams of data and a theodolite handy, of course. They just felt like two separate sites.

The White Moor stone is at a junction of boundaries and there is another 400m to the west , it is downhill from the circle and doesn't have an astro alignment . It is a better bet than the Hordron Edge stone but I wouldn't bet on it .
