Quicktime Pro has the same functionality plus there is a free piece of software (can't remember the name) that's a bit clunky but will get the job done.Time lapse and night-time shooting take a lot of planning and involves walking through unseen cow pats, getting chased by livestock and the risk of hypothermia in winter - all good fun.
