Always too good to be true! Might pop in for a visit though next time I'm down that direction, they have a half decent effort of a stone circle as well I see: http://www.pbase.com/photokhan/image/21151810
I designed a stone circle and dolmen for my uncle down in tipp. Its gas he came back from living in england for years so has loads of tasteless potted plants around the stones and stuff very funny!
I remember when Thorpe Park first opened as a theme park, they had a "Neolithic mound" or something! I guess it was supposed to look like a tumulus, but had a very regular entrance to it - about a metre square, with cave paintings on it. God knows what that was all about! Didn't last long. Kids want more from their theme parks than a cupboard full of painted animals...
they have a pretty good crannog too. i really like it. it's worth a visit. if you go on the wet in can get pretty muck-y cos your walking through woods for the first half and you'll get soaked, so wait for a dry day, if you can.
