Great Langdale

Nice one Fitz

Fitz,
Bloody Nora, I must've walked past this countless times without noticing it. Next to the camp site too. Good lad.

Bill Birkett in his book "A Year in the Life of Langdale Valley":-
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/0711224498/202-8200021-1716649?v=glance&n=266239&s=books&v=glance
states on one page that he knows of various bits of previously undiscovered rock art in the valley, found during his many years of rock climbing in the valley. I'd love to know where he means.
Cheers,
TE.

I'll second that TE, hats off to the Fitz. I must have passed within 10 yards of it. Sheesh!

I'm also intrigued by the name 'Kettle Crag', about 1km away. Have you ever been up there TE? If so, are there clefts?

Cheers fellas,
I'm afraid I can't take any credit.
Gabriel Blamires, the bloke who wrote Guidestones to the Great Langdale Axe Factories, discovered it and Kate Sharpe told me about it.

Gabriels book is here.

If you've got a contact for Mr Birkett it'd be well worth chasing this up.
I know of a couple of folk who'd be keen to have a look, meself included.
