I had the good fortune to go to Dublin for the weekend in February and I can truthfully say (hand-on-heart) that a 'must-see' in Ireland is definitely the engaging, intelligent, witty, compassionate Mr Four Winds himself!

I have read this thread with interest because Four Winds also recommended Cork very highly to me, too. (Can't resist a circle or a dolmen, me) I haven't actually started plotting a Corkage trip, but it is high in my mind. (I have too many other trips planned; Pembrokeshire in May, hunebedden in Holland in June).

I shall be **fascinated** to read your weblog when you return. When you thinking of going?

Current plan is to get handfasted at midsummer, then spend a week over the water on a trip. So last week of June looks good at the moment. Still trying to work out the finances for the whole thing. We'll probably hire a cottage as a base and plan trips from there. I need to get hold of some decent maps soon... I feel a trip to Stanfords coming on!
