I agree with county cork some great sites the os maps are excellent, also sites around kenmare in kerry and the beehives around sleigh head dingle.

Odd little but wonderful structures aren't they. Not that old though. Still worth a look because the tradition IS that old.

They were built by/for Pilgrims to 'over-night' before continuing to the islands. Well worth a visit if you're in the area. The Dingle is one of the most beautiful places on the planet.
