Thanks Ryaner and Tiompan for your replies. I've not heard of the Turas before, need to read up on it/them - if its a religious observance probably wouldn't be interested. A visit would definitely be out of season.

A lot of early christian sites / holy wells would have something like a Turas that is observed on a saints day in Ireland.
