I did read somewhere that the passage tomb at Ballynahatty did have a kerb around it at one stage and it does have one remaining standing stone outside the bank (though too far maybe to be considered as in the drawing).

Yes , despite the various other bits and pieces , cemetery ,enclosure , cairn etc , in the general area I didn't include the stone as it wasn't in the ring . Pat Collins sugested that the bank may have been revetted but I didn't know about the possible kerb .
